I got a 7 on the beep test. I am slightly disappointed in myself because I know that I could have gone longer and higher

Mid Term Reflection

During PE this year, how have you shown you are prepared and willing to participate 
in a variety of activities?

every PE class I come with my gymstrip and I help set up for the games when there is oppertunities for me to. I willingly play the games and I dont hide in he change rooms. I am not the most fit person out there but I do try hard and on fitness days i feel like I'm about to collapse and my face is red and sweaty. I have learned to push myself to the absolute limit and come to class wth a positive attitude.

  On what days have you participated to your best effort and 
why? 

I usuall participate my hardest on fitness days becasue I have a goal to never stop on those days and push myself to the maximum because those are tho only days where I have a goal of what I want to happen.

 What days have been a struggle for you and why?
Coming to PE with a positive attitude and participating in all activities becuse PE is hard for me and it isn't my most enjoyed class and it is hard for me. I enjoy PE but I would always rather doing something else, that is enjoyable for me, like the community run because I really like doing that and it is probably the only fitness that I like doing on fitness days.
How do you contribute to the overall success of the class?  What kind of attitude do 
you bring and why?  How do you interact with other students in our class?

I try to be positive and encourage other to do their best and nt sit out on the sides doing othing, I try to help them if they dont understnd wht we are doing. when I see that other could be doing more I tell them and try my hardest to convince them to get back out there and partcipate.
Describe your participation during fitness days - have you been able to push yourself 
physically? 

yes, I almost always push myself to the maximum and to the point where I feel like passing out because I know that is what I am capeable of persueing. on fitness days I try nt to work too hard at the beginning becaue I know that it will only get harder the longer that I participate so I take it easy at the beginning and push myself even harder at the end of class and at the end of the class I think to myself "could I have tried harder? what can I do to improve next class? what did I do that was good?" and other things that will improve for the next time.

 What types of fitness activities do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy doing the community run becasue it gives me the oppurtunity to pace mysefl and set a goal for what I would like to schiever for my end time. I juat like it and think that I do best with this because I am not in any sort of crowded area.

  What fitness 
goals do you have for the rest of the year? 

I plan on being able to do the community run in under 25 minutes because in grade eight i was able to do it in just over 20 minutes. That is my goal that I would like to achieve because in my mind it is most signifigant and would make me happy if I were to achieve this goal.
What does "leadership" mean to you?  Who are the best leaders in our class - why?
to me leadership is someone taking responsibility and showing other what they could do to help and participate more. they take on the responsibility of leading others. I don't know who the best leaders are...
What improvements would you like to make in PE by the end of the year?  What are 
you the most proud of so far?

I would like to be able to push myself harder and post more in my blog. Something I am proud of so far is pushing myself to the limits and not quitting even when there is an option for me to do so.
I think that I deserce either a C+ or  B because I put in a lot of effort in PE and I am trying to improve so that by the end of the year I am at either a solid B or even an A. I dont think that I deserve an A yet because I haven't proved to myself that I have put in 100% effort, until that day I will not ask for an A because I know that I can improve on so much more in PE and I would ike to keep improving.

I think that I deserve an a or a b because I usually try my hardest and do my best. I always help out in class and participate. I encourage people and they get inspired to try harder because I pushed them to the limit.

My P.E. blog post

I was looking through daniells's blog and saw that if I had my iPod with me then I will be able to capture all of the hard work that I put in. Danielle's blog was very inspiring because it is so well written and shows that she is active outside of school and constantly posts on her blog.
